He’s very impressive
He IS. Let me state I love this signee. Ok? Got me? Excited to see him next season! But gang, these highlight reels are DECEPTIVE. We see snippets. Yes he had a great game and has had a great year. I hope they win their state series! But I want to see how he reacts to adversity. I want to see how he reacts when he throws a ball away. I want to see what he does when he gets beat defensively. I want to see if he can take a charge. I want to see how he reacts when an opposing player chirps at him. I want to see if he's just as engaged not making shots as when he is making shots. I want to see if he chases a man down after his teammate throws a bad pass. I want to see if he roots on his teammates from the bench. I want to see if he grows a few more inches! I want to see if he can, not just shoot, but distribute the ball at the mid-D1 level. I want to see how he plays off and from the bench. I want to see how he reacts when we're not winning 90% of our games.

So much more to a game than just snippets.

FYI. The first thing that attracted me to him...over a year ago...was/is his shot. It's not a junior high push shot that so many college players shoot today. He's a legit shooter and he's pretty quick in getting it launched. You know it just dawned on me but he and Malachi are similar in the fact that they are both very fundamental shooters.

Anxious to see him here! But very cautiously optimistic. He reminds me of Connor Hickman from Bradley (gasp! sorry), although not as big. But I like Hickman's game and if he gives us freshman production like Hickman did, I'd be thrilled.

Yes, I’ve literally watched many of his full games. The kid is a consistent stud on the court leading an undefeated De Pere team that is #1 in the state of Wisconsin. His command of the offense, shooting, passing, and defense are all so impressive. What he lacks in height, he makes up in about every other facet of the game. The hope is he’s our 5’11 Steve Nash (kinda joking, kinda not…..)

Nash would be awesome and I am willing to settle for John Stockton numbers if necessary

I guess I don't understand the concern about the size of the school and competition. He competed and played well against elite competition on the Nike EYBL Circuit all summer.
I think the size and competition only matters when you’re a post or wing player. Guards are usually distributors, shooters or both. If you can knock down most open shots and some contested and play defense that’s really all that matters.. I think the kid can shoot it. Get him some run with Luke and Mal then our outside shooting will be fine. Him finding his roll wherever that may be is the key.

The kid's the best player on the best team in the state. Now I know we're kinda dence up here in the land of the high foreheads, but he can play and he's a leader. I give a rat's ass about his stats. Some kids transcend stat lines. He reminds me of Mike Bonczyk the way he plays with poise. He's never out of control making the team around him better. He's a winner and DAMMIT we need winners on this team.
