Dwayne Smith - had 14 catches and 243 yards vs Illinois in 2003. Unless something has changed I think he still holds the record for Memorial Stadium catches made in a single game. His grandmother had passed away earlier that day. It was an unbelievable performance. Glad I got to witness it in person.Who was the WR from Illinois we had? He was really good. We will see who steps up but I think the Birds need to be active in the portal and JC areas if they want to return to the playoffs next year.Pretty good discussion at Prairie State Pigskin on the outlook for next year.
