We had trouble handling the Missouri State transfers for Northwestern St and now the Murray St transfers for LSU. Thatbdoes not bode well for conference play

1-13 from 3 and I would say 10 of those were good looks.

Not saying the result would be much different but I’m sure coach was anticipating having Luke available. He’s been a spark of the bench a couple times this year.

3 assists on 7 made shots is a plus…

Free throws were 15 to 4 in favor of LSU and they made 11.

Again, none of it matters cuz the birds are so outmatched physically and athletically.

I am worried about our immediate future. This team is full of a bunch of role players (at their ceiling). The 3 signees for next year don't overly impress me either. At least with Dan's recruits they were athletic and big enough to physically handle the game. They just lacked a lot of basketball sense most of the time and he was unable to develop them into basketball players, but we were rarely overmatched athletically. We will be athletically overmatched all year by everyone we play and we don't shoot well enough to overcome that. I am not writing off Pedon yet, but I hope we at least get to see some of his coaching skill, and then hopefully he can start to attract the physical characteristics that are needed.

We just don't have the pieces to win right now. Burford is starting to look promising at PG. When he is on the bench, our offense is in big trouble. Hopefully Kinziger will come in ready to run the offense off the bench next year.

Sandage has his ups and downs, but he is going to be a key player for us. He's going to provide a spark for us many times this year
