Interesting information coming out from the "spat" between Calipari and Mark Stoops Head Football Coach at Kentucky. Rupp Arena is a Civic Center - owned by the City of Lexington - not by UK. Geez, you would think, a program like Kentucky would have their own Arena. Calipari whining that other sports are getting upgrades........

All this time and either I forgot or just didn't know that Rupp was not UK owned. I'm a rare non-UK fan that doesn't dislike Calipari. I believe he actually advocates for his players long term gain. (with a whole lot of 'friends of the program' money - which is now deemed NIL, fyi)
However, not too loud JohnnyCali. Even the great baron Rupp was run out of Dodge. As for Stoops, keep fighting for your program!! I'm chuckling at the thought of the A.D. putting either one of these guys in timeout.
BTW...Chuck Norris doesn't laugh. He chuckles.
