My previous posts were reactionary. There's a reason why I coach at a lower level and don't think I "know it all."

I lean to the knowledge of a four-year starter, Bone Scholar that waited under the tutelage of HC KS to serve his alma mater.

Cuonzo Martin? Really?

No Martin. He and porter Jr teamed up at mizzou which brought more recruits and that has now worn off. Besides that period in time he's only a slightly above average coach

Wasn’t Martin an assistant coach at Purdue under Keady? And wasn’t stallings an assistant under Keady? You sound like an idiot. There is a reason Martin has landed power 5 coaching jobs and Muller hasn’t.

Last I checked Martin was in the elite 8 when he coached at Tennessee.

I've always followed the Mizzou program, for some reason, always loved the Kansas-Missouri rivalry, the Illini-Missouri rivalry. Something has happened in Columbia tho, for the last 20 years or so. Hard times, except for 5 or 6 years ten years so ago under Mike Anderson and Frank Haith. Not sure how long it will take Cuonzo to turn it around.

I won't take a strong stand behind Cuonzo, but his record seems pretty decent to me - 14 years as a HC, 7 20+ win seasons, career 58% win percentage, including a couple losing seasons at Mizzou.

By the way, wikipedia tonight shows him being fired as of today. :)

Muller is soon to be unemployed and coaching at gametime gym. It may not be next season- but it's coming.

Idiot? Redbirdfan06, i've forgotten more about ISU basketball than your troll backside knows. And 4 the record KS was hied due to his experience on the chair next to Roy Williams.

I have always thought of Martin as an above average recruiter, but often a bit of an underachiever with the talent he gets. Also, I am not a fan of his game coaching. If we did somehow get him to Illinois State, his track record says he won't stay very long. Missouri State for 3 years to Tennessee 3 years to California for 3 years off to Missouri beginning his 5th.

1. Go after a younger coach from the Dakotas if available. Any Dakota school. If they can recruit there, they should be able to recruit here.

2. Anyone.

3. A ham sandwich, preferably toasted.

The above three options will provide us a higher probability of staying out of Thursday night and not losing games to Jackson St and Eville.

Only the XDSUs are above average and only SDSU is consistently good.

South Dakota State rated in the top 100. What we would all give to have that.

Brian Jones came from the Dakota’s and idk what he added. Offensive guru and our offense has been more offensive than anything under him.
They are #2 in the Conference in scoring. Guess there are eight teams in the Conference that are worse.
