Weird career. Played three seasons at Abilene Christian, was dismissed from the team (per Verbal Commits), transferred to Detroit Mercy, started in 2 games before a season ending shoulder injury, then transferred to St. Edwards where he averaged 18.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.3 steals. 47% from the floor, 36% from 3, 80% from the free throw line. 46 assists to 41 turnovers.

I believe this would be his COVID year of eligibility (one year).

"Two Abilene Christian University men’s basketball student-athletes, juniors Jalone Friday and B.J. Maxwell, have been dismissed immediately from the team for violating university policies and behavior inconsistent with the values of the university," the university said in a brief statement released to the media.
