I don't think he is upset that Dusan left. I think he saying that half the team has left AGAIN! That's a problem. If you don't see that...you need some new lenses.

Honestly, there shouldn't be anything on this board. What has there been to talk about? A bunch of players left again. We have replaced a few of them with marginal talent. We will be young again next season.

I have no opinion on the gist of what he said. I just find the use of “snowflake” to be weak.

You truly believe that recruits make up their minds where they’re gonna go based on a message board? Have you ever seen any other message boards? This one is very tame in comparison.

I don't know about you- I could care less what others are saying about the coach. I care more about the state of the program. I am going to recommend my kid go to a program that can develop and have success/NCAA Tournament. I'm not worried that the fans are a bunch of old whiney codgers. I know a lot of these parents spend a ton of money to develop their kids over the years.

I will say that many on this board are probably more of an expert than Lyons. The jury is out on the new guy. He doesn't like to return emails or calls. I hope he isn't expecting donations from those calling.

Kinda depends on the type of messages you're leaving with him, don't you think? I'm having trouble believing your messages aren't tipping your biases.

When you are down to 600 donors, might want to pick up the phone when anyone calls. I have no idea the tone of the voicemail, but this athletic department needs a lot of outreach to recover from the disaster it has become.

I am giving the new AD the benefit of doubt so far. However, I was hoping for some major changes within in the athletic department. There are some older staff that need to retire and younger staff that got promoted during the Lyons era that need help learning from a legit AD.

If it is the same admin staff in the fall, I’m going to become concerned.

I do think recruits and their parents read these forums and while they wouldn't make a decision based on a message board alone, what is said on here could effect a decision. I had to dig it up but this quote came from one of DJ's parents "I wish this program nothing but the best however, if recruits or their parents read all of this it will ultimately discourage them."

Criticism is expected and deserved but it doesn't have to be on every f'n thread.

B. I don’t know the tone of the voicemail since I don’t hack into the phones at ISU.
C. There is a big difference between respect and courtesy than sucking up to someone.
D. I don’t see why an AD wouldn’t want to hear from fans they are losing at a record pace.

I could be wrong. I'm sure winning and losing had more to do with Dj leaving than anything you or I said. I could be wrong.
