How many games do they need to win for ISU to get approx 1.5 million?
more than are available; I believe the last time the tournament was played each conference member got approximately $30,000/school for every round another school was a part of (not sure how the play-in game would factor into a total).

And the NCAA pay is delayed for a couple years. ie may have just received the payout from Loyola’s Final Four appearance.

Yes, I think they may wait one year to start and then it is spread over six years?

I saw online yesterday where Loyola made the valley 8 million dollars for their final 4 run... that was divided up between the schools. It's paid out over an extended period. I guess no need for ISU to be successful...they can sit back and collect the welfare.

That is why it is huge for mid major programs to get more than one team in and win a game or two. Not often do mid majors get past the sweet 16 so getting two teams in is huge for every team in the conference. I don't care who denies it but the big boys know this and will do anything to not let mids have multiple bids.

That’s why it’s huge ISU start pulling their share. I hope the new commissioner puts a stipulation that says you must Appear in the NCAA Tournament 1/7 years to collect. That would require programs to get serious.

I don't think that could happen. Teams would leave every 7 years then. I actually like the idea, performance based, but no way schools or a conference would put that in the rules. If a conference does do this please inform me.

Drake with its first NCAA Tournament win in 50 years. Only 27 years to go. Muller will be in year 35 of his lifetime contract, making his first NCAA Tournament, and I will have been dead for several years.

Can’t wait!

The gals at shockernet want to fire the coach they just hired to a five year deal. They don't acknowledge that they hey lost to a Valley team, or that they went 3/17 from 3, or 11/22 from the line. lol
