Most likely. I’ll wait until he says no. Want to see what we aren’t getting. Only had to pull a 5th TV into the living room to watch it.

Kid’s a stud. Totally has the look of a big time future college star. What you said, plus his shot blocking was pretty impressive. From same region as Mark Smith. Hope the way that turned out sours him on the Illini.

Okoro will be the one that influences Liddell, not Smith. If Okoro goes to Illinois, the chances of getting Liddell go way up. Same with Courtney Ramey. Right now, I'd say Illinois' chances with Liddell are about 40%. I would put Missouri about the same. Of course, that would change if Duke or UNC come calling.

People around the St. Louis know what the deal with Smith is. Smith wanted to return to Illinois and work to get better. It was his dad who has the unrealistic expectations. Illinois did nothing wrong with Smith. He earned the playing time he got just as Trent Frazier did.

Underwood will have the program turned around soon. Even ISU fans know he is a hell of a coach even if they hate Illinois.

Let's give it up for our resident Illini apologist, OrangeKerr1, everybody!

I swear you said the same thing about Groce. Too bad the board burnt to the ground...I would have loved to bring that post forward right now.

Thanks for the Illini propaganda. Your nothing if not consistent with that.

Illini needs to figure out how to get out of the bottom four of the Big 10.

The down years of Illinois have been a missed opportunity our Redbirds. Seeing the media attention that Loyola has received the last few weeks is in my opinion what we could have capitalized on. Can you imagine what could have been if we weren’t recently 0-6 in championship games? Even going .500 the program could have been at a much different place right now. A guy can dream any way.

illinois fans are hilariously delusional. Their D3 AD has made three hires - collectively they are something like 4-40 in conference.

Is there really no chance we get him? Seems like both his mom and dad are former Redbirds. Hopefully, that means something?

If we can repeat Loyola's run next year and he signs late...
